ramadan day 20

I actually contacted a sufi order that meets here in Houston.  I will go check out their meditation session next thursday.  I'll see how it goes.

I got an email today giving me information about the eid prayer service in Houston.  It's actually going to be not too far from where I live so I can probably walk over there.

Tomorrow will be busy I think.  I have a second interview for the job in Singapore.  I dont feel
excited about it now.  It's a technical interview, so it's basically an oral exam.  It's at 8:30 so I'm
not sure when or how I'm going to be able to break fast.

Oh well.

Peace and blessings to all

  1. I'm interested in finding out how the Sufi meditation goes. I'm glad you will be able to go to the mosque on Eid (and get your exercise at the same time!).

Good luck with your interview. Although you're not excited about the interview itself, be excited that you are given this opportunity at all. Even if you end up turning it down, it's wonderful that you have the option, as some people cannot even land one intereview.

Sounds like you may be breaking fast on the phone again, even if it's just a light snack until you're done. It's ok to do that, and if it's necessary (and you're able to wait) then break your fast when the interview is done. It's also o.k. to pray after the interview even if it's past the window of time.

You're going to have a great day! I just know it! :-)
